Steelmax magnetic drills use ½ the energy of other similar designs through our Safe Magnet(TM) circuitry. This circuitry is just one example that uses less electricity while in standby operation, and provides higher magnetic hold with smaller magnets. Raw material is reduced in manufacturing, lowering finished product cost and shipping costs due to lower weight, etc. The net effect is less energy to produce and operate our products.
Steelmax portable circular saws are designed to easily cut metal as simply as cutting plywood. This efficient process is much more efficient than a torch, grinder etc. and other processes are eliminated, which further saves energy and improves health by virtually eliminating toxic fumes. Particulates are not generated due to the efficient milling type cut that Steelmax saws and blades produce, compared to abrasives or torch processes.
