Met-Pro Corporation's Mefiag Business Unit Receives Equipment Orders Totaling in Excess of $500,000

Harleysville, PA, March 27 - Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR), announced today that the Company's Mefiag business unit has received two (2) orders totaling more than $500,000 to supply sixty-four (64) high efficiency filtration systems to major suppliers of motorcycle parts and consumer hardware items located in California and Mexico. The filtration systems, which utilize Mefiag high flow horizontal disc filters, Sethco cartridge and bag filters, and Fybroc and Sethco corrosion resistant pumps, will be installed on automatic plating lines where the parts will be plated with copper, nickel and chrome. Mefiag filtration systems were chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements and provide the level of filtration necessary to produce high quality finished parts.

"These orders are another example of Met-Pro's ability to provide a system solution to a customer's requirements by utilizing multiple Met-Pro products," stated De Hont. "They validate Mefiag's reputation as a supplier of choice for the toughest, most corrosive filtration applications in the plating and metal finishing industries. Together with a steady level of customer interest and quotation activity, they allow us to remain optimistic about our prospects for future awards of this type at Mefiag."
