KERRVILLE, TEXAS - ATEK Plastics, an outsource medical device manufacturer, invests in two new cutting-edge Toshiba 500-ton electric injection molding machines equipped with new robots, vision systems and RJG eDarts to keep up with the increased medical demand.

"This investment positions us to meet the needs of our strategic growth plans for the precision injection molded medical device component manufacturing for new and existing customers. In addition, the new machines have been strategically placed in our facility to accommodate swim lanes to maximize manufacturing efficiencies," said Tom Houdeshell, President of ATEK Plastics.

ATEK Plastics, an ISO 13485 medical certified injection molder, was awarded multiple new projects from large OEM's recently in the surgical and stem cell reclaim markets along with new projects from their existing medical customer base.
