MEC Acquires FEA Devices


January 15, 2006 - Seattle, Washington - MEC, The Milwaukee Electronics Corporation, an electronic contract design and manufacturing company has acquired FEA Devices of Seattle. MEC has announced plans to begin manufacturing the FEA line of liquid level sensors in its Canby, Oregon facility (MEC Northwest). The solid-state FEA sensors are capable of detecting the presence or absence of any liquid regardless of temperature or type.

MEC, The Milwaukee Electronics Corporation designs and manufactures custom circuit board assemblies for the medical, transportation, military, HVAC and a variety of other industries. MEC operates over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing in Canby, Oregon; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Tecate, Mexico. Celebrating its 52nd anniversary in 2006, MEC provides electronic design and assembly work for many blue chip OEMs.
