MDSS Named A Top Preactor Reseller

October 13, 2006-MDSS, a Cleveland, Ohio based company that helps manufacturers manage inventory, shrink cycle time and increase productivity, was awarded as a "Top Preactor Reseller" in North America at the Annual Preactor North American Reseller Conference in State College.
Resellers from the United States, Canada and Mexico attended the three day event. This honor is the culmination of the work by the MDSS technical and application teams over the past several years. According to John Leibert, President of MDSS, "This award signifies the tremendous efforts MDSS has put into providing quality solutions to help manufacturers move towards lean manufacturing and improved productivity."
During the past year, MDSS has experienced an expansion in its Preactor Business Unit. The Business Unit has provided extensive installation and consulting service to such well know companies as PPG and Exxon Mobil. In addition, MDSS has integrated its own popular factory floor data collection MES system, FACTIVITY with Preactor to allow interactive scheduling on the floor. Jim Renaldo, IT Manager from Juzo, a Preactor/Factivity user stated, "Our implementation team from MDSS was extremely knowledgeable."
