McClarin Plastics Hosts Luncheon for CCT - Certified Composites Technicians

McClarin Plastics Hosts Luncheon for CCT - Certified Composites Technicians
HANOVER, PA - November 16,2006 - When you apply to become a Certified
Composites Technician (CCT), you have taken the first step towards achieving
excellence in the composites industry, advancing your career and pursuing
comprehensive composites knowledge. The Composites Fabricators Association created
the CCT program in response to industry's need for uniform training in technical skills.

Although manufacturing techniques may vary slightly from company to company, the
materials and the molding process dictate the principles of composite fabrication. A
fundamental understanding of the process, materials and methods is necessary to
successfully produce quality composite products. The goal of the CCT program is to
enhance the overall professionalism of individuals involved in composites production,
and demonstrate their knowledge of composites.

The CCT program is designed to elevate standards in the industry by enhancing
individual performance and recognizing those who demonstrate critical knowledge of the
composites industry. The CCT designation is a noted symbol of education among
employers, employees, and industry professionals. As the industry advances, being a
CCT will become increasingly important.

If you have worked in the composites industry for at least one year and are
committed to developing your career, attaining the CCT designation will allow others to
recognize you as a certified composites industry professional.
The Certified Composites Technician program is a multi-level certification
curriculum, which ranges from practical fabrication shop technology to in-depth technical knowledge of composites. Additionally, CCT includes several specialty process areas.

Recently, McClarin Plastics hosted a luncheon for twelve employees who just
completed the CCT course, and for the seven employees that received their
recertification. Certificates were presented by McClarin's Tim Carbaugh, CCT Instructor
(CCT-I).

This is just another step McClarin has taken to provide their employees with
continued education, and ultimately providing their customers with continuous quality.
