Mazak Assigns West Michigan Territory to Addy Machinery Company


(FLORENCE, KENTUCKY) - Mazak Corporation (Florence, Kentucky) has announced that Addy Machinery Company (Clinton Township, Michigan), its distributor in the eastern half of Michigan since 1978, will now be adding the western half of the state, effective immediately. Addy Machinery also will cover Chippewa, Mackinac, and Luce counties in the eastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The remainder of the Upper Peninsula will be served by Machinery Systems North, based in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

According to Addy Machinery President James C. Addy, the company is establishing a new sales office in the greater Grand Rapids area that will be headed by Peter Addy, vice president. Personnel at the new office will include three sales engineers, six service engineers, and an applications engineer.
