Maxcess Names John Walker Executive Vice President

John Walker has been promoted to Executive Vice President- Global Marketing | Sales- Americas
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma –Â Maxcess, a global leader in innovative products and services for the web handling industry, recently named John Walker as Executive Vice President- Global Marketing | Sales- Americas. In addition to continuing to head sales in the Americas and Southeast Asia, Walker will lead Maxcess’ global marketing activities, providing a unified vision for the company worldwide.
“This promotion recognizes the leadership role that John has played, and activity that he has driven since joining the organization.” said Doug Knudtson, Chief Operating Officer for Maxcess.
Joining Maxcess in July 2012 as Vice President of Sales-North America, Walker was initially focused on returning the company to a direction of sales growth. Driven by an interest to create a global marketing and communication presence for the company, he took over leadership of the company’s marketing and communication presence in mid-2013.
“In addition to leading sales and marketing, John played a key role in the process which culminated in the sale and merger of the company with Webex in January,” said Greg Jehlik, Chief Executive Officer for Maxcess.
Walker has additionally led the coordination of global activity, including global sales channel coordination, multi-national account coordination and modernization of sales generating tactics. He will continue that activity in this new role.
