Marlin Steel President Part of Job Skills Roundtable with U.S. Secretaries of Labor, Commerce
Marlin Steel President Drew Greenblatt participated in a roundtable discussion on improving job skills with U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Thomas E. Perez, U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker and U.S. Rep. Steny Hoyer on Sept. 9 at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland.
The roundtable, titled “Strengthening Skills in Our 21st Century Workforce,” attracted about 150 people from business, government and education. The panel was moderated by Dr. Dawn Lindsay, president of Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). The discussion focused on better ways to help job creators and educators bridge the “skills gap” so that training can better align with demand-driven needs of employers.
