Manufacturer Announces Products Are 'Made in USA'

CounterBalance Corporation joins a nationwide manufacturing renaissance

North Venice, FL - December 5, 2011 - CounterBalance Corporation, a manufacturer of modular torsion spring systems, announced today it is using American made parts for its counterbalance products.

Manufacturing and assembly for company products takes place in Warminster, Pennsylvania and North Venice, Florida, the corporation's two locations.

CounterBalance President and Owner, Tim Howard, was inspired to join a growing group of American companies showcasing American products after watching a Made in America special on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer. The television show documented families trying to find at least one item in their home that was made in the United States. Many families couldn't find even one item that was domestically manufactured.

Howard feels strongly about using American made products, "It is great that we can manufacture and assemble our counterbalances here in the United States. It is very common for companies to outsource manufacturing and assembly to other countries because of lower costs. We can manufacture at competitive costs to outsourcing. Providing jobs to the American people needs to be our number one priority."

Boxes shipped to customers will now proudly display 'Made in USA' stickers on the side. "People want to know that they are spending money that is redistributed back into U.S. economy instead of foreign markets," said Howard. "Counterbalance Corporation is determined to be part of that solution."
