Malvern ISys 5.0 Cross-Platform Chemical Imaging Analysis Software Available to License

30 April 2010: Malvern, UK: Rapidly becoming the industry standard for analyzing chemical imaging data, ISys 5.0 from Malvern Instruments is available for license on a wide range of analytical systems. Providing a single platform that supports the import and easy manipulation of MIR, NIR and Raman imaging and mapping data files from a variety of vendors, ISys includes all the tools needed to intuitively understand chemical imaging data, in spectral (chemical) and spatial (image) dimensions simultaneously. ISys is available in both 64-bit and 32-bit editions, and a 30-day trial version can be downloaded free of charge from the Malvern website at www.malvern.com/isys_download

Able to run advanced functionality on most well-known platforms without special preparation, ISys can handle direct data imports from Kaiser, Horiba Jobin-Yvon, Renishaw, Witech, Varian, Thermo, Bruker, PerkinElmer, and Chemimage mapping and imaging platforms. Files in generic formats such as Grams, Matlab, ENVI, Metamorph, multi-page tiff and ASCII, can also be accessed. Other non-vibrational spectroscopic imaging data platforms can also be imported - EDAX X-ray fluorescence and Horiba Jobin Yvon XGT file formats, for example.

ISys turns images to answers for a variety of chemical imaging techniques. It delivers reliable cross-platform compatibility at speeds that enable researchers to work effectively with the huge data sets and image files associated with MIR, NIR and Raman imaging and chemical mapping. Powerful and flexible, ISys is ideal for processing both routine and complex statistical analyses, pattern recognition algorithms, chemometric experiments, and domain (particle) analyses.
