Mahr Federal to Feature New Micro-Dimensionair® II at EASTEC 2013

PROVIDENCE, RI – Mahr Federal will be featuring the new Micro-Dimensionair® II, the next generation of its well-established Micro-Dimensionair line of portable air gages, at EASTEC, May 14-16, 2013, Eastern States Exposition, West Springfield, MA, Booth #3019.

The new Micro-Dimensionair II incorporates the enhanced Micro-Maxum® II Digital Indicator and an interchangeable handle to provide accurate, convenient readouts at the measurement site. The digital dial on the new Micro-Dimensionair II rotates through 270 degrees for easy viewing, and the IP-54 rated gage provides the exceptional accuracy and repeatability Mahr Federal users have come to expect.

Micro-Dimensionair II incorporates all the benefits of the enhanced Micro-Maxum II line including: Dynamic Max, Min, TIR; two point difference measurement; Multiplier Factor for ratio measurements; indicator serial number identification; resolution to 20 µin; selectable, continuous output; and longer battery life. All standard features are retained, such as inch/metric measurement in digital or analog display; bi- and unilateral tolerances with presets; multiple data output formats; auto-zeroing; and normal/reverse settings for ID/OD.

Also on display at Mahr Federal's booth #3019 will be:

• The new generation of Mahr Federal's popular line of MarCal digital calipers. Included in the enhanced line are a number of innovations: lapped guideways; a new Reference System that retains the zero position setting; and an increased number of product options and accessories.

• Mahr Federal's new MarConnect Integrated Wireless data transmission system which has been added to its family of MarCator Digital Indicators. New low power, low cost data transmission technology has allowed the transmitter to be built into the digital indicator. MarCom software allows transmission of measurement data directly into MS Excel or via a keyboard code into any Windows program without cumbersome cables.

• A selection of Mahr form and surface systems, including: the MarSurf® XR 1, an economical, mobile, PC-based Surface Measuring System; the MarSurf XCR 20, which combines surface contour and roughness depth evaluation; and the well-known MarForm MMQ 200 Formtester, which provides the measurement of surface finish parameters according to accepted ISO, ASME, and JIS standards.

A full range of other Mahr Federal handheld gages and other dimensional metrology products will also be on display.
