Magnetek to Exhibit It's Controls Products at AISTech

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. ⎯ Magnetek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital power and motion control systems for the material handling industry, will be exhibiting at AISTech 2013 Iron Steel Technology Conference and Exposition being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pa, May 6-9.

The Company will display selected products from its broad range of digital power and motion controls, including variable frequency drives, heavy duty brakes, radio remote controls, and electrification products. Visitors to Magnetek’s booth are invited to operate Braketronic™ and Static Stepless Simulation controls, built into the Company’s IMPULSE®•G+ & VG+ adjustable frequency drives. The demonstration recreates variable torque control on a mill duty crane.  Attendees are also able to use Braketronic’s foot pedal and Static Stepless Simulation to feel the proportional control of a Black Max™ motor while operating the system with an MLTX2™ radio remote control. Diagnostics will be viewable on the MLTX2’s built-in display.

“Magnetek is truly the iron and steel industry’s one-stop source for material handling power and motion control solutions,” said Dan Beilfuss, Magnetek’s director of sales. “No other company designs and manufactures such a broad range of advanced power and motion control product lines. From component products to complete engineered systems, customers will receive the most advanced technology and material handling industry expertise available for their specific project.”
