MadgeTech Exhibiting at 77th Annual AAMP Convention

MadgeTech is headed to Omaha, Nebraska July 21-23 for the 77th American Convention of Meat Processors Suppliers’ Exhibition at the CenturyLink Center! The convention, organized by the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP), provides small meat or poultry producers and other food businesses with opportunities to partake in educational sessions, networking and view demonstrations of the latest products, including a showcase of MadgeTech’s cloud-ready data loggers.

Convention goers will be able to see a variety of MadgeTech’s wireless data logging devices and systems, specifically designed for meat processing applications. MadgeTech wireless data loggers measure and record the temperature of meat products throughout multiple phases of processing and transportation. This is critical to ensure a high-quality product and verify compliance with HACCP regulations.

On display will be MadgeTech’s RFOT wireless meat temperature data logger, an industry favorite. The RFOT has a rugged built in probe which measures and records the internal temperature of meat products throughout production, from cooking and cooling to curing and storage. Its sturdy construction and ergonomic design allows the RFOT to hang comfortably alongside meat at temperatures as low as -4 °F (-20 °C) or as high as 212 °F (100 °C).

Meat processing staff can set alarms to alert them when food products are in danger of reaching an unsafe temperature, which enables them to rectify issues quickly and prevent product loss or damage. As the loggers measure and monitor fluctuations in temperature and humidity, the MadgeTech 4 software generates graphs and reports to create a clear and comprehensive overview of all conditions. Graph reports can also include visual representations such as annotations or cooling flags to clearly convey that temperature requirements were met.

At the convention, MadgeTech representatives will demonstrate the ease and benefits of establishing a network of wireless data loggers. This technology allows organizations to monitor real-time temperature and humidity data for multiple ovens, freezers or smokers throughout their facility simultaneously.

Now, with MadgeTech Cloud Services, this level of production management is readily available in handheld, on-the-go form. Using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or any internet enabled device, meat processors can now keep themselves up to date on the environmental conditions of all locations regardless of where they are. This enables around-the-clock quality control that simply wasn’t possible before.

MadgeTech representatives will be present throughout the American Convention of Meat Producers & Suppliers’ Exhibition and will be happy to answer questions, demonstrate products and guide customers to the perfect solution for companies large and small.
