Seattle, Washington - February 6, 2018 - Machinists Inc., Seattle acquired the assets of The Gear Works, Seattle on February 5, 2018. Hugh LaBossier, President, is proud to announce the addition of major gear box repair and precision gear machining to the wide range of manufacturing services that Machinists Inc. currently provides.
Machinists Inc. has more than doubled its manufacturing space through this acquisition. Now close to 1/4 million sq. ft. Machinists Inc. will be able to support larger and more diverse projects for their customers including Boeing, Terex, General Atomics, Northrop Grumman, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and many others.
Machinists Inc. has a 76 year history providing large precision metal fabrications, assemblies and precision machined metal parts. It supports key industries, such as Aerospace, Marine, Defense, Hydroelectric, Wind Energy, Transportation and Research Labs. Gear Works provided industrial gearbox repair and has been machining precision gears for the last 70 years.
