Maag to Exhibit at Achem Asia

Maag Pump Systems AG will exhibit at Achem Asia in Beijing from the 13th through to the 16th of May 2013. The company will display a number of its popular pumps, including its brand new extrex® EA, made locally, but also a couple of models from its sister companies Automatik Plastics Machinery and Almatec. Maag will be welcoming visitors at stand H7 in Hall E.
Extrex® 56-5EA – extrusion pump.
To further increase its footprint in the far-east and re-state its interest in the Asia-Pacific region, Maag is launching its extrex® EA, a localized extrusion pump covering most extrusion applications. Assembled in the company's brand new cutting-edge facility in Shanghai, the pump also integrates key components, such as gears and bearings made in Maag's European facilities, to guarantee that the quality standards that distinguish Maag's services and products outside Asia will also remain in force in China and the region. The EA pump covers most standard extrusion applications, providing a differential pressure of up to 200 bar, and thus represents a versatile yet cost effective solution. On display: 1 extrex® 56-5EA.
USG – underwater pelletizing strand system.
USG underwater strand pelletizers have been producing virgin polymers all over the world for decades. Capable of handling throughputs of up to 20,000 kg/h, these extremely flexible and operator-friendly systems guarantee a high level of system availability, thanks in particular to the quick change of their cutting head, especially in continuous operation mode. Relying on their extremely wear-resistant cutting tools, they fulfil the very highest demands in terms of cylindrical pellet quality. The USG is now also built at the company’s new facility in Shanghai. With core components made in Germany and completion as well as assembly and commissioning done by skilled Chinese engineers, the USG provides more "added value" and even shorter delivery times. Cinox®/therminox® – for chemical processes.
Maag's cinox® and therminox® are self-priming corrosion resistant, heatable stainless steel gear pumps that satisfy the most stringent quality requirements of today's chemical processing industry. An extensive range of available construction components and materials make them easy to configure to suit customers' specific requirements and far superior to standard pumps in terms of performance and long-term reliability. Whether the applications involve pure, corrosive, viscous or very hot media, Maag Pump Systems provides solutions to meet demanding pump challenges. On display: 1 pcs TX 22 demo unit with genuine shafts and bearings.
Almatec E-Series AODD pumps.
The Almatec E-Series plastic air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump features a solid design:, the housing is constructed of polyethylene (PE) that has an abrasion resistance 1.6 times higher than steel. It is also available in chemical-resistant polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) as well as in conductive PE and PTFE for explosion-proof conditions. The availability of unique accessories (such as a barrier chamber system and diaphragm monitoring) improves the safety aspects and makes the E-Series ideal for handling dangerous chemicals. On display: E15 PE conductive, E25 PE. On display: 1 pcs E15 PE conductive, 1 pcs E25 PE.
