M5 Networks Acquires Call Center Software Provider Callfinity

Combined teams and technology set to offer next generation contact center solution

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 7, 2011 - M5 Networks (www.m5.net), the market leader in unified communications and hosted, managed VoIP, announced today its acquisition of Callfinity, provider of innovative contact center software and one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies according to the Inc. 5000 list.

The Callfinity acquisition will enable M5 to offer mid-size business clients access to advanced IP contact center technologies, which are growing in popularity and have traditionally been available as prohibitively expensive on-premise solutions. This expands M5's reach to businesses with high end call center needs. In addition, M5 will be able to extend the benefits of contact center technology so that businesses can achieve a higher level of customer support throughout their organizations, not just in the contact centers.

Following the acquisition, M5 will continue to develop, market, and support Callfinity's technology, while their CTO Patrick Conroy, will join M5 as vice president of technology to oversee the growth and success of the company's largest clients.

"In acquiring Callfinity, we're acquiring a powerhouse combination of great contact center technology and contact center experts," said Dan Hoffman, CEO of M5. "Callfinity's intuitive contact center interface will augment our hosted, managed VoIP offering."

"We're proud to be joining a team as innovative and committed to a managed customer service approach as the M5 team," said Jeff Valentine, former Callfinity President & CEO and now Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at M5. "Our customers can expect the same Callfinity support and staff, but with the added benefit of M5's product set."

Callfinity has grown rapidly since it was founded in 1999. In 2010, Callfinity was ranked #705 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.
