M. Davis Doubles Fabrication Capacity with Purchase of New Facility
Wilmington, DE –Â M. Davis, the fifth generation woman-owned Industrial Contractor and Fabricator headquartered in Wilmington, DE announces the purchase of a new fabrication facility located on Tyler Way in Newark, DE. The new shop more than doubles M. Davis’ current capacity and will help make the manufacturing process of skids, tanks and structural steel more efficient and cost effective. John Bonk, President of M. Davis stated that the new shop “will allow us to produce larger products in a shorter amount of time better servicing our customers as we continue to ship our products globally”.
Last year, M. Davis completed the purchase of a non-ferrous metal fabrication shop where cleaner processes were needed for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industry. Peggy Del Fabbro, CEO of M. Davis recently stated that “shortly after opening the non-ferrous shop we realized we were going to need even more fabrication space“. The new facility comes with higher ceilings, three (3) twenty ton overhead cranes with 24 feet under the hook height and wider doors allowing for easier material handling during the fabrication process.
