Logitech Showcases Latest Digital-Lifestyle Lineup at CES; Company Kicks off Year of Celebrating 25th Anniversary

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2006--At the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show, Logitech (SWX:LOGN)(NASDAQ:LOGI) will showcase its seven recent CES Innovations award-winners and the latest in the company's comprehensive product portfolio of innovative personal peripherals for the digital lifestyle. Among the featured products at Logitech's booth (No. 35513, South Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center) will be the extreme-performance Logitech(R) G5 Laser Mouse, which won the prestigious Best of CES Innovations award in the Computer Components category, and the Harmony(R) 890 Advanced Universal Remote Control, which uses both infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF) signals to control the most advanced home-theater setups. Logitech will also unveil new wireless mobile stereo headsets that allow people to both listen to digital stereo music and conduct phone calls on the next-generation of mobile music phones.

CES marks the beginning of Logitech's 25-year anniversary celebration. Having started as the leading manufacturer of computer mice, Logitech now offers an extensive portfolio of must-haves for PCs, iPod/MP3 players, gaming consoles, home-entertainment systems and mobile phones. The company is recognized as a leader in audio and video products, along with mice, keyboards, gaming controllers, and universal remote controls.

"In our 25 years, the home PC has evolved from a productivity tool to a control center for consumers who work, play and communicate in the digital world," said Guerrino De Luca, president and chief executive officer of Logitech. "All along the way, Logitech has been privileged to offer PC enthusiasts high-quality devices that help transform the digital experience into something that is delightful and personal. Now, as we're showcasing at CES, Logitech offers an extensive product portfolio to enhance the enjoyment of digital music, voice and video communication over the Internet, using a home-theater system, playing video games, and talking on a cell phone."

The Harmony 890 remote is part of Logitech's rapidly growing Harmony family of remote controls. The Harmony remotes are easy to set up and make it simple for anyone in the family to control a home-entertainment system, characteristics that have helped Logitech ascend to the U.S. market-leadership position in retail revenue for the programmable remote control category. The Logitech Harmony 890 remote can control sophisticated home-entertainment systems with equipment hidden behind closed doors -- no line of sight is needed -- and it can control advanced lighting systems using the Z-Wave wireless technology standard.

Logitech's new wireless mobile stereo headsets, the Logitech(R) Mobile Stereo Headset HS 200 and HS 210 models, make it easy for people, with the push of a button, to switch from enjoying a favorite song to participating in a conference call. With integrated Bluetooth(R) wireless technology, the headsets free people from being tethered to their phones, while the integrated controls allow people to answer calls, to control their music, or to switch between modes -- without ever touching their phone.

Other featured products at Logitech's booth will include:

-- Logitech's seven 2006 CES Innovations honorees, which include the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse, Logitech(R) G7 Laser Cordless Mouse, the Logitech(R) V400 Laser Cordless Mouse for Notebooks, the Logitech(R) Cordless Desktop(R) MX(TM) 5000 Laser, the Logitech(R) G15 Keyboard, the Harmony(R) 890 Pro Advanced Universal Remote, and the QuickCam(R) for Notebooks Pro Webcam.

The webcams and headsets will be demonstrated with today's hottest Internet communications applications, including Skype 2.0 with Skype Video and MSN(R) Messenger with Video Conversation.
