Lockheed Martin Acquires 3Dsolve, Inc.


BETHESDA, Md., Aug. 17 / -- Lockheed Martin Corporation announced it has acquired 3Dsolve, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 3Dsolve is a privately held company that creates simulation-based learning solutions for government, military and corporate applications. The company's innovative software tools assist clients with collaborative training utilizing interactive 3D graphics (aka, "serious games"). 3Dsolve's core competencies include multi-media, software engineering, digital artwork, instructional design and project management for use in state-of-the-art simulation learning solutions.

3Dsolve's employees and software products will remain based in Cary, NC and become fully integrated into LM STS. LM STS, headquartered in Orlando, FL, is a preeminent supplier of simulation and training solutions, military logistics support and test equipment to the US government and international customers.
