Linde to Display New ECOCYLR OSQ Specialty Gases Cylinder at Western Ontario Process & Automation Show

Specialists will also discuss broad range of specialty gas and equipment capabilities

Mississauga, Canada, -- Linde Canada's newly introduced ECOCYL® OSQ specialty gases cylinder will be the centrepiece of the company's exhibit at the Western Ontario Process and Automation show to be held at the Dante Club in Sarnia on April 28.

Linde Canada is part of Linde North America, which is a member of The Linde Group, a world leading gases and engineering company. The new ECOCYL OSQ specialty gas cylinder is part the Linde HiQ® specialty gases offerings.

"Sarnia is the center of Ontario's petrochemical industry, and the show will attract technical specialists who are looking for new and novel ways to operate their very sensitive air quality monitoring equipment safely and efficiently," said Darlene Haapanen, specialty gases marketing manager for Linde Canada. "Linde has an excellent reputation for supplying high quality specialty gases and equipment to meet the needs of this technically sophisticated customer base," said Haapanen.

Canadian Process Equipment & Control News has been sponsoring the Process and Automation Show for the past 35 years, showcasing the latest in process technologies for the process industries in Canada.

Visit the Linde booth to witness a demonstration of the new ECOCYL OSQ specialty gas cylinder that employs a unique negative pressure technology that ensures precision in the calibration gas delivery requirements for ultra-sensitive instruments, particularly gas detectors with docking stations. Such instruments can be susceptible to damage from the positive gas pressure which is usually associated with conventional gas cylinders. And, because the ECOCYL OSQ specialty gases cylinder has a built-in on-demand flow regulator, there is no need for a separate on-demand flow regulator as with conventional cylinder packages.

As with other cylinder models in the ECOCYL product range, the ECOCYL OSQ specialty gas cylinder is refillable, avoiding the environmental waste or costly regulatory cylinder return and waste handling issues often associated with disposable cylinder packaging.

Linde will also feature its BASELINE® specialty gas regulators which offer a broad range of options to meet most specialty gas applications, as well as customized equipment solutions such as switchovers, manifolds, and gas detectors. BASELINE gas regulators are also part of the Linde HiQ speciality gases and equipment family. Linde specialists will also be discussing Linde capabilities for supplying pure gases and mixtures for instrumentation and calibration -- liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon standards, EPA protocols - as well as disposable cylinders.
