Linde Showcases LNG Capabilities for Transportation at ACT Expo 2012

Pre-announces new solution for permanent LNG fueling

Murray Hill, NJ (May 10, 2012) - Linde North America will showcase its comprehensive liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, supply management and fueling station solutions at ACT Expo 2012, the leading trade show in North America for alternative clean transportation. The industrial gases and engineering company also will pre-announce new technology, slated for availability in early 2013, for compact permanent LNG fueling stations. Visit Linde at Booth 129 at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, CA, May 15-17, 2012.

Linde North America is a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company. With activities across the natural gas supply chain relevant to the production and use of natural gas fuels, Linde helps fleet managers safely and reliably optimize operations using economical and environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied-to-compressed natural gas (LCNG).

"LNG offers a lower life-cycle cost for high fuel-use customers and with natural gas prices expected to remain low for the foreseeable future, more fleet operators are looking at LNG as an alternative to diesel," said Bryan Luftglass, head of strategic marketing and business development for Linde Energy Solutions. "ACT Expo provides the ideal opportunity for Linde to demonstrate the full breadth of our expertise and capabilities in LNG for transportation and related non-transportation applications alike."

The Linde Group builds, owns and operates natural gas liquefiers at any scale, using natural gas from pipelines, landfill and stranded gas sources. The company owns and operates more than 1,000 cryogenic plants worldwide and safely and reliably makes several million deliveries of cryogenic gases each year. In conjunction with its Cryostar subsidiary, Linde designs, builds and operates LNG and LCNG mobile and permanent fueling stations and provides a full line of LNG and LCNG fueling equipment. To deploy its solutions, Linde applies strong engineering, safety and service skills.

Pre-announcement

Information about Linde's developmental LNG station design featuring patent-pending technology will be pre-announced at ACT Expo, Booth 129. The compact station minimizes installation time and cost, scales as fleets' needs expand, and can also eliminate station boil-off gas. Commercial introduction in North America is slated for early next year.
