Linde Canada to Demonstrate Welding Effectiveness of Equipment and Gases at MetalWorking Manufacturing and Production Expo

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Metal fabricators attending this year's MetalWorking, Manufacturing Production Expo, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, looking for increased welding quality and productivity, as well as improved safety, are invited to visit with Linde Canada experts who will be demonstrating the company's extensive line of shielding gases, hard goods, machines and safety products.

Linde Canada is an affiliate of Linde North America, which is a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company.

The expo is being held on Tuesday, April 7(th) at the Victoria Inn Hotel Convention Centre. Linde welding experts will be showcasing the Linde-branded MIG wire, proprietary flux cored and metal-core wires and Linde-branded abrasives. They will also be highlighting MISON® shielding gases which reduce the amount of ozone formed during the welding process, while improving the stability of the arc, increasing weld strength and lowering clean up time.

Linde's cutting specialists will be available to respond to questions relating to mechanized oxy-fuel and plasma cutting. Visitors to the booth will have an opportunity to learn about ODOROX® odorized oxygen for cutting applications, which has a very distinct smell to help mitigate the danger of oxygen leaks because the odor becomes noticeable in plenty of time to take protective action.

Also on display will be a wide range of safety products, including personal protective equipment, protective eyewear, and high visibility clothing.

Luke Balderson, area general manager, said "We believe the Linde product offerings related to welding and cutting, combined with our engineers' extensive applications experience in the fabrication industry, are second to none. Visitors to our booth will have the opportunity to meet with our specialists and leave with solutions to their specific issues."

In the 2014 financial year, The Linde Group generated revenue CAD 22.8 bn (EUR 17.047 bn), making it the largest gases and engineering company in the world with approximately 65,500 employees working in more than 100 countries worldwide.
