Ad for Lev-Lok® modular receptacle captures reader attention during tight economic times
Little Neck, NY, March 6, 2009 - Leviton Manufacturing Company is the recipient of Ad-Q's Outstanding Advertising award for its October 2008 Electrical Contractor magazine ad, "Time: Very Short, Money: Very Tight, Lev-Lok®: Very Smart." The ad was conceived to build awareness of the company's Lev-Lok modular receptacles as a smart solution for installing and replacing receptacles when meeting tight deadlines and keeping within budget is critical to contractors and their customers. Reader response to the ad, according to the Ad-Q study, identified the Lev-Lok ad as one of the most memorable in the issue of the magazine.
The average performance score for all ads in the issue was 106. Leviton's score was 159, placing it among the top 10 most effective ads in the magazine. A composite benchmark score of the statistics is then established as an overall effectiveness score for individual advertisers.
