Leviton Expands DMX Signal Management Product Line with 8 Input/1 Output DMX Merger
Little Neck, NY, December 8, 2006 - Leviton introduces a DMX input merger as the newest addition to its line of DMX signal management products. The DMXSM-H81 combines 8 inputs into a single DMX512 output employing a highest level takes precedence operating order. All inputs are 100 percent optically isolated to ensure protection of connected sensitive equipment.
Through use of a DMX merger, multiple control inputs can communicate with the same device and eliminate error-prone, multi-location, complex DMX input wiring schemes. The DMX input merger is ideal for multiple control locations, simultaneous control devices, and easy backup controller integration. The merger can also be combined with the Leviton DMXSM-H18 splitter/repeater to create an 8 input/8 output DMX powerhouse.
