Leviton Appoints Carrella Director of Technology for Distribution Marketing and Sales
Position focuses on use of technology to support customer needs
Melville, New York, August 30, 2010- Leviton is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Carrella to the position of Director of Technology for Distribution Marketing and Sales. In his new role, Carrella will lead the implementation of cost-effective technology solutions to support Leviton's customer-centric marketing and sales initiatives. He will additionally focus on streamlining process efficiencies, reducing administrative overhead and delivering solutions that support Leviton's "go green" mandate through its sales channels.

Carrella arrives at his new post with a solid background in Information Management. In a career spanning over 20 years, he has held various previous positions at Leviton where he led project teams through the process of implementing new software solutions. Carrella played an instrumental role in upgrading the company's Oracle ERP systems, implementing its facility-wide PBX system and integrating export compliance systems.
Before joining Leviton, he held a variety of positions in the information technology field with Cablevision, Publishers Clearing House and Chase Auto Finance. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from C.W. Post College.
