Lee Industries, Inc. Receives ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System Certification
Philipsburg, Pa. - Lee Industries, Inc. recently received the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Certification. The certification was issued by HSB Registration Services in Wayne, Pa., a division of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. of Connecticut.
As part of the certification, Lee Industries created a new Quality Manual and implemented a Quality Management System for the manufacturing of stainless steel ball valves and stainless steel processing equipment including but not limited to kettles, tanks, blenders, and bio-reactors, excluding design and development (7.3) that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 certification.

This certification is important because it indicates that Lee Industries has systems in place to ensure our products continually meet customer requirements.
