Downer, who wrote his customers a letter introducing them to Lazer-Tech said, "after so many good years in this business, I feel it is time for me to move on. I think that there is no company better than Lazer-Tech with whom to entrust my customers. I have known Jamie for many years and knew his dad Ken before that. I respect the way the Lazer-Tech business is run, and feel confident that I leave my valued customers in good hands."

Jamie Armitage added, "We have always had a great deal of respect for Ron and the operation of RWD. We take his confidence in us very seriously, and will do all that we can to live up to that trust. We congratulate Ron on his great career, and wish him all the best in retirement. We also want to assure all of RWD's customers that we will do everything that we can to continue to give them the same kind of excellent service that they received from RWD Manufacturing.
