CHICAGO, Sept. 26 // -- The premier destination for HR decision- makers, Human Resource Executive® magazine's 9th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition will once again feature the largest number of new product announcements made at any similar event in the world. This year, 40 of the show's 215-plus exhibitors are planning significant product announcements about cutting-edge HR software and services.
The conference and exposition will be held at Navy Pier in Chicago from October 4 - 6, 2006, and a nine-year record number of executives have already registered to attend. Agistics Workforce Connectivity is a hosted solution that enables HR and IT departments to collaboratively manage, govern, and support the proliferation of mobile technologies, such as PDAs, cell phones and laptops in today's enterprise. It provides real-time dashboards, automated policies and governance, and a new employee self-service interface. Being piloted at the HR Technology Conference, Agistics Workforce Connectivity will be available in 2007.
AIRS will announce the AIRS Employee Referral Audit Program, a one-of-a- kind solution that allows forward-thinking organizations to benchmark their existing employee referral programs (ERPs) against the best practices of the Global 2000. Developed in partnership with Dr. John Sullivan, the AIRS ERP audit is a fast, affordable and effective tool for organizations to significantly increase the success of their ERP performance.
BrassRing's Web-based Enterprise talent management solution has been enhanced to improve recruiter effectiveness and candidate engagement. Enhancements include a refreshed user interface, recruiter defaults, posting previews, simplified multi-language requisition workflow, BrassRing Smart Approval rule-based approval, and BrassRing Event Manager automated assessment and interview event management. Click-free candidate processing has been extended with configurable, automated communications, and users can maximize candidate engagement with extended e-mail marketing and employment branding.

Broadlook Technologies will announce Job Pulse, a desktop software tool that simplifies searching and archiving job postings from more than 200,000 job boards and corporate Web sites. eContinuum will announce the release of Overture 3.0, offering redesigned job simulations that provide realistic selling scenarios for assessing candidates for sales positions. Through a unique collaboration of expert selling criteria and the scientific application of I/O psychology, the job simulations measure a matrix of key selling competencies. Overture is an integrated system of job branding, pre-screening, job simulations and assessments that also includes expanded reporting and candidate measurement tools designed to make the selection of top sales candidates easier and quicker for hiring managers.
HCRSS, a JGI software company, will announce version 2.2 of SalaryXL, which allows companies to launch their salary planning process into a high- powered, Web-based, database-driven platform, while still leveraging existing investments in Microsoft Excel. In this release, the following new features have been added to SalaryXL: integrated online point-and-click organization tool, password protection of downloaded spreadsheets, additional column formats added to the many already supported, enhanced online sheet, and beta status of the MySQL version.
HotGigs will announce Jobs2Web, a tool that drives candidate traffic directly to company job sites from major search engines such as Google and Yahoo!. Jobs2Web extracts and optimizes jobs from company career sites for best search engine placement, as well as submits them to major free job posting sites.
This fall, HR.com will launch a comprehensive job board for HR professionals. Already one of the largest global online HR communities with more than 135,000 members, HR.com's new career Web site plans to become the biggest of its kind, with thousands of the most up-to-date HR job postings from across North America.

HR Alloy will announce QMS 3.0, the latest version of its on-demand qualification management system for human resource professionals. This major upgrade extends the system's authoring platform and includes several entirely new modules: Project Manager, Competency Manager, Multi-rater Feedback reporting, and Coaching Manager. With this version, QMS becomes an integrated authoring platform for automating many previously separate and labor-intensive HR consulting practices.
HRSG will announce an upgrade to the performance management module of its i-SkillSuite software. New functionality includes the ability to customize performance management processes, set cascading corporate goals, create templates, attach weights to goals, set targets for specific goals, rate goals, and assign specific goals within a plan.

The Infohrm Group, a global provider of on-demand workforce analytics, will launch two new workforce analytic platforms: Infohrm Essentials and Infohrm Professional. The former provides an "out-of-the-box" starter kit for an organization beginning its analytics initiative, and the latter is a more comprehensive platform that provides a detailed view of an organization's entire human capital landscape across every HR function.
Kenexa will announce enhancements to its performance management product, Kenexa CareerTracker, which includes modules for goal management, performance management, pay-for-performance, career development, and succession planning. New features include a dashboard to effectively manage organization alignment and analyze performance data, dynamic and flexible OrgCharts with modeling capability, sophisticated reporting with metric displays and charts, and a new user interface based on goal-oriented design for streamlined user interaction.

LaserBeam Software will announce the release of LaserComp 3.1, enterprise compensation management software for executive compensation, salary planning, incentive and stock options. Web-based tools support manager self-service as well as a large range of options for the HR/compensation specialist. LaserComp 3.1 is designed to support current processes, be simple to use and intuitive. Information about LaserBeam's early adopter program will be available at the company's booth.

Lawson Software plans to announce Lawson Performance Management for Healthcare. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product provides healthcare customers with a faster and simpler method for complying with reporting standards set by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The Web-based system covers the entire performance management and reporting process for the healthcare vertical.

Lookout Services, a designated agent under the Department of Homeland Security Basic Pilot Program that pioneered automated Form I-9, will release a new platform to provide employers with computerized tools to qualify for the new "ICE IMAGE" certification. To meet the IMAGE requirement, this process will include automated I-9 audits and direct interfaces to the government databases that verify name and number matches for new hires.
MediaPro's OPTI-MATCH enables organizations to implement, manage, and measure the effectiveness of coaching and mentoring initiatives. Using OPTI- MATCH, organizations can customize and manage multiple coaching and mentoring programs, and prioritize matching criteria to assure that organizational objectives are met. Monster will announce the availability of the second version of its Monster Performance Assessment System, which offers employers a predictive assessment tool that measures candidates' competencies via scientifically validated, job-specific questions. Monster will also demo its Talent Management Suite, a set of fully integrated employment solutions targeted toward small businesses and mid-size enterprise companies, offering enhanced and integrated Career Site Hosting (CSH) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) products as well as a number of post-hire employee retention and development tools.
Nakisa will introduce a next-generation organization charting, succession planning and workforce modeling application for enterprises entitled Nakisa OrgManagement Series 2007. Setting standards for HR data visualization, this solution features a highly intuitive user interface and presents dynamic views of real-time workforce data from ERP systems. Enhanced Microsoft Office interoperability, advanced Directory e-mail and workforce search also improve usability.
The Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) is NetDimensions' learning management system, and available in Bronze, Silver and Gold suites. NetDimensions will announce that EKP Bronze - the SME version of EKP - will now be available as a hosted solution as well as in a licensed solution. The company is also announcing a new appliance named EKP Server Plus, a stand- alone server that ships ready to deliver, manage and track an e-learning program using NetDimensions' LMS, the Enterprise Knowledge Platform.
PDS, developers of Web-based HR and payroll systems, will announce the integration of Burning Glass Technologies' artificial intelligence and predictive matching technologies as part of its Vista HRMS to provide resume parsing capabilities as well as to offer add-on resume search and match features. This new offering will enable PDS Vista clients to reduce the time and expense of processing inbound resumes and matching candidates with open positions.
PeopleAnswers Inc., provider of Web-based assessment technologies, is unveiling a new executive dashboard - a suite of technologies that provide business leaders with real-time, enterprise-wide analysis of the impact of their hiring on sales, profitability, staffing ROI, and a host of other key business performance measures. Salary.com will unveil its new TalentManager software suite, an on-demand talent management solution. Web-based, this fully integrated software suite enables HR professionals to seamlessly link employee pay to performance and manage human capital investments. Taleo will launch a new services offering, Talent Intelligence, to complement its reporting and analytics solution. Taleo's Talent Intelligence includes several packaged options such as a Metrics Analysis Workshop, Reporting Fit-Gap Analyses, services for technical implementation, and Dashboard and report development services. This a la carte services offering is designed to help customers realize immediate value from their Taleo Reporting and Analytics investment.
