Lauren Manufacturing Sister Company LMI Custom Mixing Expands with New Mixer Line
(CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – Feb. 8, 2017) Lauren Manufacturing’s sister company, LMI Custom Mixing, LLC, has added a third mixing line to its operations that will help both companies meet long-term customer demands.
LMI is a primary provider of polymer compounds used by Lauren Manufacturing to create custom sealing solutions for leading OEMs, designers and builders.
This partnership allows Lauren to improve speed-to-market, maintain high quality standards and advance its research and development program.
Part of an expansion project focused on facility improvements, LMI also has added 50,000 square feet of warehousing and storage as well as upgraded plant infrastructure.
Investing in the growth of their customers is not uncharted territory for LMI. The company previously doubled its production capacity with an expansion completed in 2007. With the addition of the third mixer line, LMI has increased the annual production capacity of its operations to 60 million pounds of rubber, a 50 percent increase.
