Melville, New York, September 15, 2010- Leviton is pleased to announce the appointment of John LaMontagne to the position of Director of Specification Sales for the company's Lighting Management Systems business. In his new post, LaMontagne will lead the company's Technical Sales team to drive product sales through architects, lighting designers, design engineers and other members of the specification community.
LaMontagne began his career with Leviton in 1994 as a Specification Engineer for the company's distribution sales group, and since that time has held a series of increasingly demanding roles over the past sixteen years. This includes serving as The Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Distribution, Eastern Region Manager for National Accounts, National Corporate Training Manager and Northeast Regional Manager for Lighting Management Systems, Prior to joining Leviton he had extensive experience working for a New England electrical contracting firm.
LaMontagne holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). He and his family reside in Barrington, Rhode Island.
