The Exclusive North American Distributor QUEST CAD/CAM announces the release of two new KURIS system for the "cutting room". The TexCut C 3030 compact cutter and the MS 100 MULTI-SPREADING MACHINE.

According to KURIS, the TexCut C 3030 multi-ply cutter is developed for fine cutting of textile wovens, warp knitted and circular knitted fabrics, technical textile and special materials, and is intended for the clothing industry and automobile, aircraft and space technology as well as furniture, building and ship building industries. Maximum cutting speed is said to be 60 m/min, maximum acceleration 5 m/s and 1.70 m working width.

Available from right now is also, according to KURIS, the new MS 100 multi-spreading machine with individually adjustable lingths and a spreading speed of 100 m/min. This machine is reported to spread especially highly elastic fabrics or imperfectly rolled materials into accurate single layers, zigzag or paired double layers of an identical orientation. Rolls of diameters up to 60 cm and weights up to 120kg can be processed on this machine, KURIS explains. All functions are controlled by means of a touch screen and self-developed multi-linguistic software.
