KSW Microtec Names Thomas Hitzer As CEO

Dresden, December 20, 2007  KSW Microtec AG, one of the world¹s leading suppliers of RFID components, has named Thomas Hitzer as CEO. In his new position, Thomas Hitzer will broaden KSW¹s already extensive RFID product and service portfolio and significantly extend the company¹s sales and marketing activities in both the active and passive RFID segments. His profound understanding of the RFID sector will strengthen KSW¹s ability to innovate and optimize today¹s RFID components.
With 15 years of activity in the RFID market, Thomas Hitzer is one of the most experienced and well-connected managers in the sector. Thomas Hitzer joined KSW on July 1, 2007 with responsibility for sales, business development, marketing, strategic corporate development and product development. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sokymat, a leading global supplier of RFID transponders.
