Keymark Corp Acquires New Aluminum Press

North America's premier full service aluminum extrusion manufacturer, headquartered in
Fonda, New York, announced today plans to install a large aluminum extrusion press as part of a multi-million dollar expansion project at its plant in Lakeland, Florida.

The new UBE, 3,000 ton hydraulic press, capable of producing aluminum extrusions up to 14 inches in circle size, will be installed adjacent to Keymark's existing 140,000 square foot facility. The new facility will incorporate an additional 104,000 square feet of floor space and will leave room for additional future expansion. Tony Maiolo, Chief Operations Officer, says "Our plans are to install another paint line (vertical) and fabrication equipment to our operations in Lakeland, Florida in the future. The new aluminum extrusion press will compliment Keymark's full range of service capabilities and will allow greater design opportunities for new and existing markets."

Keymark of Florida currently houses (2) seven inch aluminum extrusion presses and a 40 foot horizontal paint line. The new press to be installed comes complete with ancillary equipment (Edward's Kevlar belt driven handling system, water quench system, automatic stacking equipment and line-stenciling capabilities). The expansion project will create 63 new jobs in the Lakeland, Florida area over the next two years and the planned startup of the new press will be second quarter of 2010.

Keymark Corporation currently operates (6) extrusion presses in Fonda, New York and
Lakeland, Florida and has been in business since 1966. Keymark is the only aluminum
extruder in North America that offers large press capability, anodizing, fill & debridging, fabrication, powder coat painting (up to 40 feet), wet painting (both acrylic & high performance) and thermal strutting equipment under roof.
