Karla Kinser Joins Burns & McDonnell to Deliver Water Treatment Solutions

Kinser Joins Design and Construction Team, Delivers Clean Water Infrastructure

Denver, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Karla Kinser, PE, joins Burns & McDonnell, an engineering, architecture and construction firm, in delivering water treatment solutions for municipal and industrial clients. Kinser will manage project teams consisting of engineering, architecture and construction professionals to plan, design, permit and construct conventional and advanced water treatment facilities.

Kinser will serve in a variety of consulting and project development roles as part of the firm's ongoing commitment to provide quality and cost-effective solutions, including design-build, engineer-procure-construct (EPC) and other professional services that improve life cycle costs, reduce construction time and lower project costs for water infrastructure systems.

With nearly three decades of experience, Kinser specializes in designing and implementing low pressure and high-pressure membranes — a chemical separation and water purification technology — which can be used for treating drinking and industrial reuse water. She has managed more than $2 billion in projects, leading multi-discipline teams on complex collaborative deliverypursuits domestically and internationally. Kinser has experience working with municipal, mining, industrial and oil and gas clients.

Kinser recently served as a board member for the American Membrane Technology Association and is currently a member of American Water Works Association and WateReuse Association. She received her master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana. She earned her bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and a degree in natural resource management from Colorado State University.
