Kaivac Receives Patent for Kaimotion Cleaning System

Hamilton, OH-November 13, 2007-Kaivac, Inc., originator of the popular No-Touch Cleaning(TM) system, announces that the U.S. Patent Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 7,270,251 for its KaiMotion(TM) cleaning system.

KaiMotion, often referred to as the "janitor's closet on wheels," is designed for high-performance floor mopping and floor finishing.

The unit has a self-dispensing solution tank with precise flow control to accurately dispense cleaning solution and floor finish. This helps reduce chemical waste by 30 to as much as 90 percent.

The ergonomically designed, worker-friendly KaiMotion incorporates microfiber technology for solution/finish application and is engineered to ensure that custodians use only fresh, clean solution.

According to Tom Morrison, Vice President of Marketing for Kaivac, this is because the microfiber pads never enter the solution tank. The result: the cleaning solution remains fresh for more effective cleaning, which also results in fewer trips to the janitor's closet.

"A lot of research, testing, and ingenuity goes into everything Kaivac produces," Morrison says. "As a result, just like our KaiMotion, most of our products are patented or have patents pending."
