K-Tron Introduces New Pharmaceutical Feeder Design

K-Tron to Exhibit New KT20 Pharmaceutical Feeder Design at Interphex 2008, March 26-28, 2008, Philadelphia Convention Center, Philadelphia, PA, Booth 1317
PITMAN, NJ (March 17, 2008)- K-Tron will exhibit a new version of the KT20 Pharmaceutical Feeder that includes a specially expanded hopper design at Interphex 2008, Philadelphia Convention Center, Philadelphia, PA, booth 1317.
Due to the higher open area directly at the base of the hopper, this design lends itself particularly well for cohesive materials where build up may occur with more standard hopper designs. In addition, the higher open area in the material entrainment section of the feeder allows for better screw fill which in turn can also result in better feeder accuracy. The design is available for both the T20 and T35 pharmaceutical feeder sizes.
Other operational and static demos on display include: MT12 Micro-ingredient Feeder for low rate ingredient feeding, KT20 Pharmaceutical Feeder on 24 kg scale with integrated Premier Pneumatics P10 receiver to illustrate true feed and refill performance, and the Premier Pneumatics P30 Pharmaceutical receiver.
