John Boehm Elected Executive Board Chair of Bio-Process Systems Alliance
St. Paul, Minn. – CPC (Colder Products Company), the leader in single-use connection technology for bioprocessing, is pleased to announce John Boehm has been elected Chair of the Bio-Process Systems Alliance(BPSA) Board of Directors. Boehm will serve a two-year term in this leadership position through December 31, 2016. CPC has been a member of the BPSA since 2006 during which time John has been actively involved in numerous initiatives and most recently held the position of Vice Chair.
“Our 2015-2016 board is inclusive of a diverse set of quality individuals who are corporate leaders in the single-use industry: component suppliers, system integrators and end-users, both U.S. and EU-based. It is the organizational leadership of the entire single-use value chain that we envisioned when BPSA was formed and it is gratifying to see it come to fruition. I am looking forward to working with all my peers to further advance the BPSA agenda,” said newly-affirmed Chairman John Boehm of CPC.
Boehm is the bioprocessing business unit manager at CPC where he leads the development of product and marketing strategies for the biopharmaceutical processing market. Throughout his 14 years at CPC, he has contributed to the success of the company in a variety of capacities including product development, customer solutions, strategic market development and creation of new breakthrough technologies. Boehm has held leadership positions in engineering, marketing and business development at CPC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Grove City College in Grove City, Penn. and a Master of Business Administration from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
