João Ricciarelli is New Executive President for Americas Division
Stuttgart, Germany - September 4, 2019 – João Ricciarelli has become the new Executive President (EP) of Leadec's Americas division as of September 1, 2019. The previously separated North and South America regions were merged into one Americas division. In his former position at Leadec as CEO of the South American region, João was deeply involved in the development of the company's strategy. As EP of the new division, he will be responsible for five business units.
When João joined Leadec in 2017 as Chief Operational Officer, he brought with him over 30 years of multinational corporate work experience in companies such as ABB, where he had different managerial positions. From 2000 – 2015, he worked with SKF where he started in California as Latin America Director, then Service Director for Europe, based in Great Britain, and Country Manager in Canada. He was also Managing Director of Bombardier Transportation in Brazil from 2015 to 2016. João has a degree in electrical engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá in São Paulo.
As of 2018, he was CEO of the South American region. Together with his team, he focused on driving the company's continued growth while consistently improving existing services.
