Jim Thomas Appointed Vice President of International Sales for Mate Precision Tooling
Anoka, Minnesota: Mate Precision Tooling, a world leading manufacturer of CNC punch press tooling, announced today the appointment of Jim Thomas to the position of Vice President of International Sales.
In announcing the appointment, Kevin Nicholson, President stated that Thomas will have responsibility for planning and directing all of Mate's international sales activities. "Jim's addition to our senior leadership team will further strengthen our customer focus. Jim and Mate Precision Tooling are dedicated to providing 100 percent customer satisfaction. Jim has a proven track record for delivering international growth and he understands the needs of customers worldwide. Mr. Thomas brings to Mate significant international business experience most recently as president of Colder Products Company International Division, a leading provider of quick disconnect couplings for the life sciences, industrial and chemical handling markets. Prior to that, he was the company's international sales vice president and director. Mr. Thomas also was vice president of product marketing for Automated Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) and senior vice president of product development for Katun Corporation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Thomas worked for Alcon Laboratories and General Electric Company.
Mr. Thomas is a 1978 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in finance and business economics. He also holds an MBA degree in international business from the Thunderbird-Garvin School of International Management and an executive MBA degree from Stanford University. A published author of international business and marketing topics, Mr. Thomas is also a noted speaker at industry conferences on international business.
