Jervis B. Webb Company Names Gloria Lara Vice President Of Project Management


FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. (May 10, 2006) - Jervis B. Webb Company - a world leader in material handling solutions - has named Gloria Lara vice president of project management. In this role, she oversees project management for
the company's U.S. and Canadian operations and reports to Brian Stewart, senior vice president and COO.

Before joining the Webb Company, Lara was president and founder of The Lara Group, LLC., a company that specialized in advising small-to medium-sized companies and assisting in developing strategies and tactics for performance and
revenue enhancement. Prior to that, she served as business line manager at Delphi Corp. in Saginaw, Mich. She has more than 23 years of automotive management experience.
Lara joined Chrysler Corporation in Highland Park, Mich., in 1983 where she held various executive, product planning and financial positions. While at Chrysler, she took a lead role in the company's Honda study team, which analyzed Honda's
strategy, operations, product development and corporate culture. The team and Lara's successful efforts were profiled in The Critical Path, a book by Brock Yates.

Currently, Lara serves on the board of directors for Alternatives for Girls in Detroit, Mich. She is a former national board
member of Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. and a past president of the Girl Scout Council of Metro Detroit. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from California State University in Fullerton, Calif., and a master's in business administration degree from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
