IQMS Customers Recognized for Manufacturing Excellence
For the fourth year in a row, IQMS customers go home winners from the Plastics News Executive Forum
PASO ROBLES, CALIF. –Â IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced that two customers were recognized for excellence in manufacturing last night at the Plastics News Executive Forum in Tampa, Fla. DLH Industries Inc. was honored with the customer relations excellence award and Protoplast Inc. picked up the honor for excellence in employee relations.
DLH Industries Inc., an IQMS customer since 2005, specializes in air and fluid handling assemblies to the automotive market, as well as engineered plastic components and sub-systems to other markets. DLH Industries was recognized for its excellence in customer relations, as proven by its six consecutive Global Supplier of the Year awards from General Motors. Offering world class service all the way through to the end user, DLH Industries puts the customers' needs above all else.
Protoplast Inc. is a Canadian molder that supplies automotive, industrial, electronics, consumer and medical/biotech customers. An IQMS customer since 2000, Protoplast was honored with the employee relations excellence award. From holding fundraisers that assist with unexpected medical expenses to promoting employees from within, Protoplast treats its 80 coworkers like family.

In its inaugural year, Plastics News also honored ten manufacturing processors with a Best Places to Work award. Ranging from 22 to more than 1,700 employees, these ten firms were judged based on honest, anonymous feedback from its employees on subjects such as corporate culture and communication, role satisfaction, work environment, leadership, training, pay and benefits. Four of the ten honorees are IQMS customers: Micro Mold Co. Inc. (first place), Plastikos Inc. (second), Reschcor (fourth) and Plastic Components Inc. (ninth).
