IPS Packaging Welcomes Alan Sanger


FOUNTAIN INN, SC, January 2010: IPS Packaging welcomes Alan Sanger to their company as the Charlotte Sales Manager. Sanger started in his new position on January 4, 2010. IPS Packaging is a privately owned packaging company that provides packaging supplies and equipment worldwide

Sanger's past professional experience includes Business Advisor at Thomas Sales and Logistics in Memphis, TN. Sanger has over 15 years sales experience, and 28 years of experience in leadership and management roles.

"Alan's packaging experience, corporate accounts knowledge, and sales leadership skills will greatly strengthen our sales focus in Charlotte," said Greg Schuliger, Vice President of Sales, IPS Packaging.

Throughout his career, Sanger has proven his leadership abilities that are necessary to grow sales and capture new business. He has successfully held sales positions with International Paper and Champion International.

"We look forward to adding a new dimension to our sales team. We are confident he will reach larger geographic regions and penetrate larger accounts," said IPS Packaging President, Jerry Murdock.

Sanger holds an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, OH as well as a master's degree in Political Science from NC State University. Sanger graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 1980 and served 28 years military service in the US Army; including 3 years active enlisted service, 12 years active commissioned service, 12 years reserve service, and one-year mobilization tour for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Alan retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

2005 - IPS Packaging acquires Carolina Adhesives.

2006 - IPS Packaging acquires All-Star Packaging and opens warehouses in Ashland City
and Johnson City, TN, and Juarez, Mexico.

2007 - IPS Packaging continues its growth by acquiring Unipak.

2008 - IPS Packaging becomes an international company distributing to China, Israel,
Canada and Mexico.
