FOXBORO, MASSACHUSETTS, USA - September 29, 2005 - Invensys Process Systems today announced that the company's Foxboro, Massachusetts-based Customer Satisfaction Center has achieved certification under the prestigious Support Center Practices (SCP) certification program for the third consecutive year. SCP certification quantifies the effectiveness of customer support based upon a stringent set of performance standards representing best practices in the industry. Successful re-certification demonstrates an on-going commitment to high-performance standards.

Invensys Process Systems' Customer Satisfaction Center provides first-line technical support for Invensys' Avantis enterprise asset management system customers (www.avantis.net), Foxboro industrial automation customers (www.foxboro.com) , SimSci-Esscor simulation and optimization customers (simci-esscor.com) , and Triconex safety system customers (www.triconex.com).

"Invensys is committed to continuously improving customer satisfaction levels throughout the organization, said John Eva, vice president of customer service at Invensys Process Systems. "Our success to date lies both in our willingness to listen closely to our own customers and to organizations such as the Association for Services Management (AFSM) and the Service and Support Professionals Association (SSPA) to learn where improvements are needed and our ability to work diligently to implement and maintain these improvements."

About SCP Certification

SCP, the internationally recognized standard created by a consortium of leading technology companies and Service Strategies Corp., defines the best practices for delivering world-class technology support. The program quantifies the effectiveness of customer support, establishes a foundation to build on existing quality processes, and provides a clear focus on measurable results. SCP Certification requires comprehensive on-site audits to confirm that companies meet the requirements of approximately 100 business elements defined in the program.

Specific audit criteria include Customer Feedback, Service Delivery Processes, Performance Metrics, Training Programs, People Programs, Corporate Commitment & Strategy, Productivity Tools, Electronic Service Delivery, Total Quality Management, Research & Development Interface, and Sales & Service Interface. Certified organizations must demonstrate their continued commitment to high performance standards in these and other areas through annual re-certification audits.
