Introducing OdaLog Gas Data Loggers from ThermoFisher
ThermoFisher Scientific has appointed CAS DataLoggers as its US Master Distributor for the OdaLog family of portable gas monitors. Effective immediately, CAS will be responsible for the sales and support of all OdaLog products within the United States.
OdaLog, owned and manufactured by ThermoFisher Scientific Australia Pty Ltd, are used extensively in the wastewater industry to record the level of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) and other gas emissions in pumping stations, manholes and sewer lines. Originally established in Australia in 2009, ThermoFisher designed the OdaLog in conjunction with wastewater authorities to survive the hot and humid conditions found in these areas while recording ppm gas levels.
Karthik Vilvanathan, manager of the Industrial Data Logger group within ThermoFisher stated, “By partnering with an experienced distribution organization like CAS, already well established in the data logging and temperature monitoring market, we expect to continue to build on our success as an industry proven leader for H2S monitoring in harsh environments within the wastewater industry in North America”.
The OdaLog Product Family Includes 3 Models:
- OdaLog Type L2-SL with a standard sensor
- OdaLog Type L2-LL with a long-life sensor
- OdaLog Type RTx with cellular modem
With Bluetooth communications now available, all the loggers are supported with the OdaStat software and easy to use application for configuring the devices and downloading stored data.
