InfoLogix, Inc. Acquires Proprietary Web Services Based Software Development Technology to Build Custom Mobile End-User Applications

Company Continues to Expand Intellectual Property Portfolio, Adding to Existing Lineup of On-Demand Software Assets

HATBORO, Pa., May 7 / -- InfoLogix, Inc., a leading provider of mobile intelligence solutions, announced today it has acquired proprietary software development technology that will enable the company to build mobile end-user applications for enterprise customers.

The unique software technology, acquired from AV Partners, LC, enables the rapid development of mobile handheld applications with highly customized workflows for field sales, field service, vehicle tracking, proof of delivery and more. New applications can "go live" in as little as one month, enabling companies to achieve "outside the four walls" computing capabilities with rapid deployment and faster return on investment.

"This is a significant step forward, for both InfoLogix and the mobile solutions industry," says David Gulian, President and CEO of InfoLogix, Inc. "With the addition of mobile software application capabilities, we believe that InfoLogix has acquired the missing component which will enable us to become the premier 'single source' provider of total enterprise mobile solutions."

Branded as InfoLogix Intuitive Mobile Software, the software enables easy integration with multiple technologies, such as WAN, LAN, scanning, satellite/cellular communications, RFID and signature capture. The software also takes advantage of the newest mobile databases and operating systems from companies like Microsoft and Oracle, designed specifically for commercial handheld computing.

"There is mounting evidence that hardware giants like Motorola and Intermec, with over $40 billion in combined sales, believe that mobility is a significant growth area," says Gulian. "These new software capabilities will allow us to better partner in building solutions for those market needs."

Many enterprise customers previously attempted to handle their own mobile handheld software development. InfoLogix believes this software suite will enable it to directly provide a solution that meets customers' exact design, timeframe and budgetary goals. In addition to new customers, the majority of InfoLogix's existing enterprise customers are also candidates for new applications using this software.

"With the addition of this software suite, InfoLogix will make the complex task of implementing an enterprise mobile solution significantly easier for thousands of businesses," says Gulian. "Along with our HealthTrax system and BedCentral application, this software development platform is a strong addition to our core On-Demand software assets."
