Infiana Expands its Management Team - Expansion of Global Organization

With Sabine Wieser and Stefan Herfurth, films expert Infiana has secured two new management talents.

Sabine Wieser will assume responsibility for Global Human Resources

As Vice President Global Human Resources, Sabine Wieser will be responsible for further developing Infiana's corporate culture. In this regard, she places particular emphasis on talent development and employer branding. “Innovation, creativity, and curiosity are irreplaceable in the global working world. They create a clear competitive advantage that not only makes Infiana attractive to customers, but also to our current and future employees,“ notes Mrs. Wieser.

Sabine Wieser previously served as Interim Manager HR bei E.ON Connecting Energies. Prior to this, the native Austrian was employed at TUI Cruises, where she was responsible for personnel development and talent management. As HR Manager at Smith & Nephew, Sabine Wieser oversaw strategy development for the DACHEE (Germany - Austria - Switzerland - Eastern Europe) region.

“We are excited to be adding a professional of Sabine Wieser’s caliber to our Human Resources department. Her experience will help Infiana to position itself as an attractive employer - particularly within our current workforce,“ said Infiana CEO Peter K. Wahsner.

Infiana builds up its worldwide networks with new COO Stefan Herfurth

January 1st also saw Stefan Herfurth assume his duties as the Infiana Group’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this position, he will be responsible for the entirety of Infiana’s production and its three manufacturing sites in Malvern (Pennsylvania/USA), Forchheim (Germany), and Samutsakorn (Thailand). This is the final step in the company’s transformation into a globally oriented business, a process that began with its 2015 carve out. “Building up worldwide networks and better leveraging our global production capacities will enable us to respond to the needs of our customers and markets on both a local and international level,“ remarked Stefan Herfurth, COO Infiana.

Through his previous role as Vice President at Huhtamaki Films, Stefan Herfurth is well-versed in the structures and requirements of his new position.

“We are happy to once again have Stefan Herfurth on board. The creation of a dedicated COO position is a key step in moving from a more regionally focused, siloed structure to a global network, which will spur improved service and quality for Infiana’s customers in all regions,“ noted Peter K. Wahsner, CEO.
