Infiana Establishes New Sales Organization in Asia

Kim Meng Ng Assumes Position of Vice President Asia

Forchheim – The tip of a new spear on the front lines of Infiana’s global sales organization: Kim Meng Ng will lead the company’s Asian sales team and, together with Infiana’s global VPs, is responsible for all relevant local activities in its five key segments. “I look forward to working in a global team, achieving profitable growth for our business in Asia, and offering innovative, sustainable solutions to our customers in these markets," says Kim Meng Ng, Vice President Asia.

Long-Standing Management, Sales and Industry Experience

Kim Meng Ng has many years of experience in the packaging industry and the hygiene market. “We are very happy to have secured Kim Meng Ng for Infiana. With his broad industry background and multicultural experience, he will help us further build out our successes in this fast-growing region,“ adds Ingrid Sebald, Chief Commercial Officer at Infiana.

Growing Engagement in the Asian Market

Infiana has been active in the Asian market for a number of years, delivering processed films from its production sites in Germany, the US, and - since 2011 - Thailand - to a multitude of Asian countries. Infiana’s local production focuses primarily on printed and siliconized film solutions for the feminine hygiene market. In past months, Infiana has further strengthened its presence in Asia; in 2016, the specialty films manufacturer signed a strategic partnership with the Chinese company Guangxi Golden Umbrella Waterproofing Co. Ltd.. Goal of this cooperation is the development of waterproofing systems and other building and construction products for end users with exacting quality and specialization requirements.
