Industrial Scientific Corporation Announces Organizational Change
PITTSBURGH, PA, USA Apr 11: Industrial Scientific Corporation is pleased to announce the following organizational change to support the growing organization.
Colin Arlott has been appointed General Manager, Industrial Scientific Europe. In this position Colin will be responsible for all manufacturing operations, sensor production and fulfillment services surrounding Industrial Scientific's iNet(TM) program. This position reports directly to the President of Industrial Scientific Europe.
With an extensive background in modern manufacturing, Colin specializes in the implementation of cellular and lean manufacturing methods. His manufacturing experience includes instrumentation used in a diverse range of industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive. "I look forward to supporting Industrial Scientific's growth in Europe, Africa and the Middle East," Arlott said. "And, I'm excited about the prospect of contributing to the success story of Industrial Scientific."

Colin previously held the position of Director and General Manager of City Technology Ltd. based in Portsmouth, UK. Previous responsibilities include Engineering Manager for ITW Inc., Operations Manager for ITW Inc., Site General Manager for ABB Instrumentation at Stonehouse and General Manager for the UK division of Elsag Bailey Instrumentation, now also part of ABB. He is a Chartered Engineer with a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kingston Business School.
