Indium Corporation's Sales Engineer to Present at SMTA San Diego Chapter Meeting


Indium Corporation's Karthik Vijayamadhavan is schedule to present at the chapter meeting for the San Diego Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) on March 11, 2009.

The presentation, "Maximizing Process Windows (Print & Reflow) for fine-pitch assemblies - Solder Paste Attributes", focuses on reducing process defects resulting from the industry's move toward increasing miniaturization and Pb-Free and halogen-free assemblies. The goal is to help users increase profitability.

Karthik is an Area Sales Manager for Indium Corporation, covering the west coast of the United States. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras-India and a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He has over 8 years of experience in the surface mount technology industry.
